Happy Monday! I hope everyone had such a great weekend and is ready for the last week of September! It’s so crazy it’ll already be October on Saturday! Well as I’m sure y’all have seen via my insta, I’ve been in Seattle the past few weeks helping my sister move into her new home but whenever we get a free moment, we’re out exploring! The past couple times I’ve come up the weather hasn’t been super amazing but let me tell you, Seattle has really been showing off this time… only like 2 cloudy days & basically no rain!

Since CA is still in summer mode, it’s been kinda fun to bring out my Fall clothes a little early this year! I’ve been living in my yoga pants, oversized sweaters & OTK boots but this outfit is another go-to staple and classic fall outfit: distressed denim, sweater, cargo jacket & booties.

Layering is everything for the fall season so this cargo jacket is especially great because of it’s lightweight material. Depending on the weather, layer it over a tank top or sweater! This sweater is actually from a couple years ago but I’ll link a few similar ones below! A camel-colored sweater will always be a classic for fall and can easily transition to spring.

Side note: So we went downtown Kirkland the other day to a place called Top Pot Donuts….highly recommend! Sooo amazing! Make sure to try the seasonal pumpkin spice old fashioned donut if you can!😋  They also have another location downtown Seattle, which is actually their original location. We went to that one last time I was here and it is so cool because it’s two stories and looks like a library inside!

These are my go-to distressed denim. You’ll be seeing a lot of them this season if you haven’t already! They are Paige denim, ‘Skyline’ Ankle Peg Skinny and I’m wearing a sz. 24. They fit me super well & are great for those of us with very little curves because they make us look like we have some! 😉

A neutral pair of booties are a fall must-have! | check out my other list of fall basic must-haves here | personally, I love the look of suede in the fall. I love adding a lot of texture to my outfits and suede just feels so cozy and inviting! My Vince Camuto booties are from last year so I’ve linked a very similar one instead.

Last but certainly not least, accessories!

    • A classic, quality black leather bag is always a good choice because it’ll last for a long time! I’ve had this kate spade bag for almost 4 years now and the leather has only gotten softer and more buttery. I’ll link a few similar pieces below!
    • Aviators… keep wearing them from summer for a chic polish to any outfit!
    • Starbucks 💁🏼
    • Metallic nails… big trend for fall! This color is penny talk from Essie : it’s basically a rose gold ♥
    • Dark lips!
